The Social and Recreation Committee, in concert with the Board, organizes NWONA events and provides opportunities for NWONA members to meet, learn and socialize. We have organized the NWONA Annual Meetings the past 5 years and a number of program meetings on topics such as: Neighborhood History, Community Gathering Spaces (aka "Intersection Repair"), Street Trees, West Bay Development, and Street Edge "Rain Garden" Landscaping.

If we had just a few more members, we could put on purely social events like a BBQ, party, potluck series, or an outdoor movie (in the summer!).
